This is great.

In Orlando, Florida, the ANNIKA Foundation (golf Hall-of-Famer Annika Sorenstam’s charitable organization) has added two women and two men to its Board of Directors.

The new board members are PGA of America Vice President Suzy Whaley, AHEAD CEO Anne Broholm, Global Golf Post Founder & Publisher Jim Nugent, and Wasserman Executive Vice President Barry Hyde.

The ANNIKA Foundation provides opportunities in women’s golf at the junior, collegiate and professional levels and at the same time teaches young people the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. The foundation was founded by Annika Sorenstam just over ten years ago.

There is what the foundation sees it will get from the new board: mission-based leadership and strategic governance to the Foundation team, including approval of the annual budget and material business decisions.

Whaley, Broholm, Nugent and Hyde join Annika, GrayRobinson partner, Jay Brennan, and Angela Iacone-Radaelli, CFO of Club 59 Global, and Charlie Meche on this prestigious board.
