Devin Fitzgerald, a member of the 2026 recruiting class and son of NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald, declared his commitment to Notre Dame on Saturday. As a three-star receiver from Brophy Prep in Arizona, he is ranked as the 71st prospect among wide receivers. Choosing Notre Dame instead of UCLA, he joins the Fighting Irish as the 24th recruit, with his class ranked fourth in ESPN’s latest evaluations.

His impressive performance in preparatory competition has already generated buzz among college scouts.

Fitzgerald noted that the institution had maintained contact with him since his early high school days. The university extended a scholarship offer in May amid interest from several top conferences. During a standout junior season, he secured 52 receptions for 720 yards and nine touchdowns, earning national attention, with many expecting him to contribute significantly on the field.
