What if all our rainbow children were treated truly equally and Black, White, Asian and all the culture and mixes in-between were seen as Kings and Queens, all given the same opportunities, respected like ancient aristocracy, gathered together at a magical tea party, to make new the rules for the new world going forward?
This shoot is to empower, and support Farouk James boys with long hair campaign, many good senior schools especially church schools will not allow boys to have long hair as part of their uniform policy, which stands against true equality. Changing the narrative around black and mixed heritage children’s afro hair is important, their crowns in their natural state should be loved, respected and represented, not discriminated against. These are rainbow children, representing equality, repositioning them as Kings and Queens, to be empowered, revered and respected to dismiss negative stereotypes. Showcasing the beauty of vintage fashion and style, true sustainable recyclable fashion.
